“Weavers of Dreams” Release Commemorates United Nations International Year of Cooperatives

In honor of the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives (UN IYC) a Special Commemorative Edition of “Weavers of Dreams: Founders of the Modern Cooperative Movement” by David J. Thompson will soon be released. 21,500 copies of “Weavers of Dreams” have now been printed. The Special Commemorative Edition is jointly sponsored by many co-operative organizations in Britain, Canada and the United States of America.   Author David J. Thompson and his book, the Special 2012 Edition of “Weavers of Dreams,” will also be featured at many national and international events in Canada, the United States and at the closing ceremonies of the UN’s International Year of Cooperatives in the United Kingdom.*   The newly revised “Weavers of Dreams” contains a new cover by award-winning Blackstone Edge Studios, featuring a dramatic nighttime painting of Toad Lane by powerful new British artist, Xavier Pick.
